After a technical glitch caused a painful experience with downtime, this large and growing U.S. retail chain decided to extend business continuity protection to its 23 stores spread across seven states. The solution needed to maintain network segmentation to meet security and PCI compliance standards for the chain’s Point-of-Sale (POS) application. In addition, they wanted to eliminate the $15 to $20K per location expense that a SAN deployment would incur. Avance software fit the bill. Its split-site capabilities provide localized disaster recovery and business continuity at each store location – without the need for a SAN.See the Case Study
