The Hewlett-Packard HP-UX operating system is an X/Open UNIX 95-branded operating system that conforms to X/Open's Single UNIX Specification, as well as standards that include XPG4, SVID3 Level 1 Application Program Interfaces (APIs), OSF AES, and de facto APIs such as BSD.
