Challenge:
An in-depth analysis performed by the Stratus Solutions Services team revealed that two of the bank's production systems used for processing the bank's ATM transactions and those of its European affiliates needed more capacity to support expected increases in transaction volume. The bank was concerned about completing the migration before its approaching peak-season production freeze.
Solution:
The analysis determined that the issue could be resolved by moving its solution to the Stratus ftServer® V Series system. The Stratus Solution Services team strategized with the bank, scrutinizing the analysis and reviewing the effort required to port the application to the new system. Together they determined that, with specific hardware upgrades, the current modules could carry the bank through the peak season. Stratus then installed the upgrades before the production freeze date, ensuring no interruption in service or reduction in response time.
Result:
Thanks to the thorough analysis performed by the Stratus Solutions Services team, the bank resolved a capacity issue before it became critical. By resolving the issue sooner rather than later, Stratus prevented this client from experiencing serious operational problems during its most important year-end, peak-processing season while mapping a growth strategy to meet the bank’s future requirements.
