Cantata's SnowShore IP MediaServer Now Available on Stratus T30 Series Server, Offering Users Powerful Media Processing on a Continuous Availability Platform

Las Vegas, NV STRATUSWORLD/LAS VEGAS, March 26, 2006 – Cantata Technology^TM, the world’s leading independent provider of enabling communications technology, established through the combination of Excel Switching Corporation and Brooktrout Technology^®, announced today a technology partnership with Stratus Technologies.

The partnership has resulted in the seamless integration of Cantata’s SnowShore IP Media Server^TM with the Linux-based Stratus^® ftServer 30^® CO system, a NEBS^TM Level 3-certified server that provides affordable fault tolerance for a broad range of telecommunications applications in mobile, landline, circuit, packet, and converged networks. The powerful combination provides customers with unprecedented reliability and continuous availability of mission critical applications in next generation pre-IMS or IMS architectures.
